Donatos Announces New Pepperoni Duo Signature Pizza

Traditional topping with a twist provides new bold flavor combination for customers

Donatos Pizza is introducing a brand new signature pizza, the Pepperoni Duo. Consumers who already like Donatos' crisp, robust pepperoni can enjoy even more of this premium topping on this new specialty pizza.

"Because Donatos is known for its famous, crispy pepperoni, we developed the new Pepperoni Duo signature pizza to give customers yet another way to enjoy America's number one favorite pizza topping," said Janet Sprouse, director of product development at Donatos. "With its simple and hearty flavor, and abundant pepperoni, the creation of the Pepperoni Duo seemed like a natural fit."

The Pepperoni Duo features a layer of Donatos' famous pepperoni, topped with another extreme layer of finely chopped pepperoni. To complement the fresh toppings, the pizza is smothered in a delicious blend of whole milk mozzarella cheese, real cheddar and smoked provolone. This signature pie is available to customers on Donatos' Edge-to-Edge® Thin or Hand Tossed crust.
